PRAYER

1) Lifting up all the children who will receive a vibrant presentation of the story of Jesus is always number one on the prayer list. We appreciate your role in this.
2) Pray for Carlos Avila, that the Lord would bless him mightily as he has moved back to his native land of Columbia to start the project in this great land.
3) We are also trusting God for the necessary finances to put more teams on the road. This involves audio-visual equipment and vehicles, besides normal salary and travel expenses. Specifically, this includes:
- Video projectors $1200 USD each
- Audio and miscellaneous equipment $200 USD each set
- Salary and travel expense for one worker per month $1100 USD
4) Pray for real daily wisdom and humility that enables the Holy Spirit to guide us in decision making.
5) Each one physically involved in this projecct is so dependent on "your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ". Phil. 1:19

PRAISE

1) We praise the Lord for all the children, a thousand or so per school day, who are being impacted with the good news of Christ.

2) We praise the Lord for each of our partners who uphold this ministry in prayer and financial support.
3) We praise the Lord for His supply of good workers and His blessing and keeping them.
4) We praise the Lord for the several hundred thousand children who saw and heard the gospel this last year. Many of these accepted Christ as their Savior.
5) Praise the Lord that the production of 8 minute video clips for the high school religion classes is underway.
6) Praise the Lord for the marvelous way in which the Costa Rican government has taken the film/guide project as their own.
7) Praise the Lord for His evident leading in regards to Doña Arely, national assistant to the vice minister of education in Honduras.

8) Praise the Lord for the start of the project in Colombia this year.

PRAISE AND PRAYER

Our first seminar in Honduras!

We'd like to share with you an overview of the first seminar we organized in Hondura the week of May 16 - 20.

There were 429 teachers including 7 curriculum advisors attendance in groups ranging from 33 to 83 people throughout these 4 days.
We had the assistant to the vice minister of education opening the project on national television. The responses from the teachers have been very gratifying. Here are several examples:

- «This project is an answer to the chaos that we are experiencing in our society; Honduras needs the Bible...»
- «It is too bad that only today I remember years ago saying a prayer like this one.»

Each 4 hour seminar includes:
- Introduction by the Ministry of Education and Project Jesus
- Explanation of the teacher's manual and student work book
- A talk on a topic like "The Seven Basic Needs of a Child"
- The Children's Jesus Film and the sharing of the gospel
- Craft time where the teachers actually do one of the crafts out of the guide
- Closing, including comment sheet

We are praying and believing that we can go to press with this material in 4-5 weeks. We need to see $100,000 to be able to print enough material to get a good price, and to cover the beginning need. It would enable us to print 15,000 guides and 400,000 workbooks. What God is doing is so incredible, it is almost hard to communicate. At the same time He is the One who touches hearts in this end down here to open up the doors and that end up there for the supply. I do have a pending meeting with World Vision here for one of the days between the 14-17nth of June. This whole project really fits their method of operation. Also the Canadian Bible Society wrote to say that they are very excited and are doing some checking into supplies, etc, and will get back to me. We hope that they would at least consider supplying a Gospel of Luke for each of the teachers trained. I received a note from Doña Arely, the assistant to the vice minister of education in Honduras saying that she is very happy with the seminar and how the teachers are accepting it. "They are asking for the guide as soon as possible."

Praise the Lord for this, Bill Davidson
